Second entry | We've made it
I've decided to split this blog up into three aspects (fashion, family and music), which may reflect my split personalities. Perhaps I'm kidding, but it's most likely that I'm not.
Taken in the backyard once again, but this time I've included more furniture that I'm not even using.
Jay Jay's Basic Tee | Dangerfield Dress | Sportsgirl Socks | No brand shoes | Rubi Hat |Assortment of Rings | Customised Feather Earrings | Brown and Silver Rhinetones
The only difference in terms of inspiration and obsessions with fashion from those mentioned last week (feathers and Rhinestones and the Hippie Era), is the importance of accessorising.
Jewellery, Hats have the aptitude to change any outfit to any style trend.
For years, Ive had a love affair with rings, and you can even ask anyone I know, and they can tell you I'm obsessed with rings. All my rings come from Tree of Life, Lovisa, the aforementioned Sportsgirl, Diva and Just Jeans. I'm more into the rustic rings, than the shiny golds and silver that are available in stores these days. Bohemian rings are my downfall as I will spend from $5 to more than $100 on a ring and thus, are the reason for the decreasing, depleating money in my bank account.
For Fashion icons and dream fashion brands: look up Bianca Jagger, Miley Cyrus, Wildfox Couture and Jenny Packham
FAMILY | the personality for truth
Lately, Sundays have been different without my family. And by family, I mean the ones that you choose for yourself. Merlyn, Stewart and Ren are essentially apart of my every-week, and my everyday.
Last night consisted of chillin' at her house, her cooking food, broken cars, flash photography and late night rides. The spontaneity with them, inspires me to be more free, and relaxed. You're young only once, and essentially live only one time, so you might as well buckle up, and enjoy the ride.
MUSIC | the personality for wanderers
This week, I have gotten back into song writing, and playing the piano, and am finding it a good mechanism to express all thoughts, feelings and symptoms of life. I am no where near done, nor do I think I will ever record them, but its nice to know that there are different ways of putting thoughts into words besides the writing a diary, or creating poems (Although I hardly think the latter is ever done).
The melody, the rhythms, and the words in any song have the ability to change your moods, your life, and everything in between.
Sorry for the long rants. Hope you all have a great day/week.
All my love,
Grace
xx
