I'm currently obsessed with wearing the unconventional.

and if you judge me, who cares. I wear what I like to please me not you.

But either way, I am loving this, as well as anything velvet.

One of my closest girlfriends has been sharing her closet with me for months, and recently discovered that she has velvet pieces that I have now effectively stolen.

But for christmas (HAHA), I would really like anything that is associated with film photography, music studios or the following that will be shown in pictures.

Honestly, I prefer Demi Lovato's vocal stylings over Lil Wayne's version, but no one can lie about the powerful message behind his music video. The moments of empowerment and courage allows for life to change for the better, and I believe that this video strongly conveys that. What i love most about this video is that its up to us, to show people how to love, in the right way, and the most effective way. Free of any judgement and criticsm. How often do we realise that sometimes words do hurt us? To be honest, the person who said that sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me, was a pure liar.

Physical hurt leaves after a while, but words reappear in memories, dreams and the conscience of the insecure. It's very often that we doubt our ability, our appearance, and our skills, and that is what I believe has led to our own society's downfall. Since when did we have to live by the dictations and criticsms of people who don't even matter? When did we decide we would let the words they have us penetrate through our way of thinking? Why do we allow people to even have the amount of people influence over us? The only power allowed in our lives, is the power we allow people to exert over us. So for the people who are reading this blog, show people how to love, in the right, and sometimes the most unconventional ways. After all, courage is fear in action.
